April 5th, 6th, 7th Easter moored opposite the Boathouse pub in Braunston NN11 7HB
March 17th
We made a steady start and got about an hour outside Braunston where we decided to have a lazy day and stopped.!
March 18th
Rain has forced play to be cancelled for the rest of the day so moored at the top of Hillmorton Locks
March 19th
Been a great day cruising even seen a swan try to hitch a lift on the roof of a moving bus... very comical (Swan and bus OK) We are now moored at Sutton Stop (Hawkesbury Junction) The day the NHS Life Support system was finally switched off) :O(
March 20th
Lovely Spring day for a cruise along the Ashby. Plenty of water, plenty of sun and plenty of overstaying boats on all the visitors moorings :O( . We are moored near Dadlington for the night.
March 21st
Another lovely day in the sun cruising up to the terminous of The Ashby. Now moored at Snarestone just south of the tunnel.
March 22nd
Weather continues and it would have been a lovely cruise back up through the Ashby if it wasnt for the To**er fishermen just outside Hinckley. Mooring up just South of Hinckley tonight. PS check out the new farm shop at Bridge 23. Great home produced meat and veg.
March 23rd
Moored in the sunshine at Easinghall near Brinklow. Birds singing, lambs bleating... getting to the end of a lovely week.
March 24th
Short trip to Newbold where we met our friends Gary and Beryl... play suspended for the day ;O)
March 25th
Overnight just outside Braunston on the North Oxford then heading for Flecknoe tomorrow.
